Re: Best way to remove marker pen from Lego?

(...) Interesting... my experiments with removing LEGO printing from slopes, using brasso, an old T-shirt and a lot of elbow grease, completely removed the texture from the sloping brick. Maybe you could use a coarser abrasive on normal bricks, and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

  buying used/new lego

Hi all, I hope this is the right place for a "lego buying experience" type post like this. This weekend for the first time, I responded to a lego ad I saw in a paper. Someone was selling second hand lego sets, for prices up to £40. I had a quick (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: The Old Testament Strikes Back

dude, this is tre cool.. very inspirational in your building outlook.. especially in "living bricks" such as minifigs and animals. you've inspired me to build a flock of sheep, btw. most of your buildings have a simplified beauty to them, but the (...)   Megabloks sighted

Pink and purple Megabloks were seen coupling with faded old blue Lego bricks on my mousepad today. Additional, muted, colors were joining in from both sides. It seems the older Lego types no longer get along with the new generation, but they play (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

An old family friend called round my house a week or so with her children (3 boys between 7 and 13) - keep with me, this is on topic honest, They live down in Cornwall and hadn't been to south wales before. I've built it, and I'm impressed. I put together a few pics while I was building it using the Vision Command, sorry for the poor quality. (...) Indeed. They did it before. Ever see the figures available during the mid 1970's? They had Town sets, but no mini-fig as we think of it. And during the 80's, it wasn't called System with a logo. The boxes just had the word LEGOLAND stamped on (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)
