Frank Filz showed me a brick out of a sealed set from the 70's that had yellowed in the box, once opened over twenty years later. The box may have been near or in a store window, so it may have gotten UV through the box, but the parts in the same (...) (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.general)

Hi, there is no problem! ;-) I have also an "old" rcx1.0 with a mindstorm 1.5 kit. some weeks ago I have to build the 2.0 kit with the rcx1.5 (one reason is, I needed an usb tower). So I update both rcx withe the newest firmware from LEGOs website (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Here are some technique tidbits: The torso is built around the main gun and the structure needed to extend it. This was a very fun part to design.
