Hi,
there is no problem! ;-)

I have also an "old" rcx1.0 with a mindstorm 1.5 kit.
some weeks ago I have to build the 2.0 kit with the rcx1.5 (one reason
is, I needed an usb tower).

So I update both rcx withe the newest firmware from LEGOs website and it
work fine. I dont saw any difference between this both bricks.

best regards

Thorsten

All,

I've got an RCX 1.0, and my son has a 1.5.  Is there anything that • would cause
problems if I loaded 1.5 firmware into a 1.0 RCX?

While on the topic, what about 2.0 firmware in a 1.0 RCX?
