6776 Ogel Control Center Set Review

6776 Ogel Control Center Set Reviewed Overall comments in brief: Great set! 8 of 10, I had to mark it down a tad because of juniorization and some design flaws (Hey, stop leading me by the nose with these instructions unless the instructions make (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: TLG and "Seeding" (Lego and MB compared)

(...) Wow, that was all very well stated and quite accurate to my mind. The price differences at full retail are about the same in the U.S. BTW, and not all of us have access to the same level of sale prices as do some Lugnuts. Most of the time a (...)   Re: The Ubiquitous Half Stud Width Offset (and how to use it)

(...) An interesting treatise. One area that I'm surprised to see missing is the use of the cylinders in the bottoms of bricks and plates for inserting studs into. For example you can center a 1x2 brick under a 2x3 brick. Also, the second trick (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

  Lego lights?

When I was a little kid I got a kit for adding electric lights to my creations. It consisted of two little yellow 2x2 bricks with a 4.5VDC light bulb shining out the front, and the old 4.5V type of electrical connector on the back. I got tired of (...)   Re: what's left for LEGO to make?

(...) I dunno. Sure, some of us .starwars people would buy a dozen buckets, and sure, the Horde of Starwars Collectors would each buy one, but is that enough to justify production? We're still a pretty small part of the market... But to answer the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.starwars)
