Re: Anybody want to invest in my idea?

(...) It's basically a sieve. When the parts are dropped in the top they travel down a 2 stud wide chute. The floor of the chute is made by having long antennae piece held at an angle by a 1x2 hinge topped with a 1x2 plate with center stud. The 1x1 (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Speed regulator question

(...) Yea, numbers of speed regulators is one of those interesting things... You're dead without one Two is highly desireable (so you can run two independant loops of track) Three or four provide you a way to run accessories or wall warts for your (...)   Re: Speed regulator question

(...) Well, it does keep the cost down but I think the main reason is that TLC struggles with the best way to deal with the multitude of different voltages and plug styles for the wall wart. Separating out the regulator means that not every set (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

Local childcare getting in on the Lego

I stood there the other day at my son's childcare and the weirdest feeling came over me as I stared at a mosaic of children and different activities. The one my eyes automatically glued on was two young boys playing/building with Lego. A little (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jul-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Speed regulator question

(...) I think that much of it is that TLC recognizes (and certainly hopes) that folks will buy more than one train set. If you got a speed regulator with EVERY trainset, those of us who buy tons of train sets would be burried with them, and even the (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: My latest cathedral.
