  LSynth Rubber Band Tutorial

I have been playing around with MLCAD and LSynth, and have had lots of luck when generating point-to-point and point-through-point items like cables and hoses. However, I have had exactly no luck trying to generate rubber bands and belts. I see (...) (14 years ago, 17-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Motorized pneumatics

(...) Hi Nathan, Don't you love differentials? Smart gearboxes..... I invented the same pneumatic switch/compressor solution years ago, and its great! As you pointed out, how fast the switch flips all depends on how hard it is to pump the pump. (...) (14 years ago, 14-Aug-10, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hi Nathan, I really like your solution. I've seen a number of automated vales, but almost all had the drawback that they could generate considerable stall load on the motor. This solution appears to be much more efficient. Jetro (14 years ago, 11-Aug-10, to lugnet.technic)

(...) The font (i.e. the shapes of Times New Roman) is fine. It's the character encoding -- which in this case is neither standard nor universal.   Re: who's feelin the black pack?

The chain is not necessary. It was just a quick way of hooking the motor to the differential. There is sometimes a delay in the system because the pump is such a small load even when the valve is closed. One way around this is to give the output (...) (14 years ago, 11-Aug-10, to lugnet.technic)
