If you look in you 68HC11 Reference manual in sections 2.1.1 to 2.1.5 there is a description of the differences and there is a table showing the memory sizes for the different types (by the way the table misses the 8K ROM in the MC68HC11A8 entry in (...) Hey there, sorry I forgot to mention a few things to you: Digikey stocks the Optrex LCDs, they're about $12/ea, and since you're probably ordering from them anyway, it's no problem. Can I put a Rom memory in the handy board? I don't need a battery , so i think to remove that and the battery. There are a couple of versions of DLM out there. The one I have I have to type : dlm pcode_hb -ram -256 for it to work on my handyboard. Hello all, I am in the process of building my Handyboard. I have installed the CPU and some of the voltages seem suspect. I am interested in teaching assembly language on the hb platform, and would like to know if there is a monitor-assembler program for the HB similar to BUFALO for the motorola EVB/EVBU Platforms. Lisa you could also use the HEXMON40 program you might already be familiar with from the Mini Board. Basically all you have to do is change the motor out and vector location definitions.
