  Re: show-me training

Hi, This is a great idea. I was just wondering if you meant to make a replacment firmware to accomplish this or just write a program? I would be extremely interested in this project. Thanks Nicolas Gauthier (25 years ago, 8-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: What´s the memory for the RCX?

(...) The RCX doesn't actually have a hard-drive or flash memory or even EEPROM. It stores its core information in a 16K ROM, which is loaded into a 32K RAM, which is cleared out when you remove the batteries. When you download a new program or new (...) The recent discussion about the Scout got me to thinking of a type of robot programming that would be really cool, really simple and intuitive, and really easy to implement. Looks real nice on the PC side, Markus, but- where is the source for fast.srec? Was that a deliberate omission? Or just a mistake? I'd really like to look at what is in there, especially considering the small size of the .srec. Let us know... -Luis (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
