  RE: Spirit.ocx

You can call methods in spirit to send commands to the RCX via the IR tower, like a remote control. Since it is an ActiveX control you can do some cool stuff with it, like call it from VB Script code on some web page.... You can all call methods to (...)   Re: RCX and train motors...

(...) Well, you couldn't translate the DCC routines to NQC (if that's what you're asking) because the byte code interpreter used by NQC is simply too slow to generate the correct waveform (by a factor of about 1000!) The DCC routines were written in (...) (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) If you can do it with LDCC, you can do it with the standard firmware. I have no idea what the readings would be. Try it. Steve disclamer here: It's your RCX. (19 years ago, 17-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  RCX expertise

I've heard people talking about this before, and I've done it with LDCC but this is what I need some expertise on with standard RCX firmware So you have a motor output--lets just say Motor A if you take a LEGO wire, add 2 LEGO lights (as resistors) (...) Cruise speed until near a siding, then slow speed to approach siding, and finally "creeping" speed to (...) (19 years ago, 14-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
