  nqc -firmware

Hi All, Last weekend, I finally had some spare time and took the opportunity to program my RCX with NQC. Sure beats the heck out the RCX code! However, I had some problems downloading the firmware before I could download my code. I used the (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I'll jump in here and take a shot. One definition of software vs firmware is that firmware talks directly to the hardware (setting bits in registers etc) while software doesn't. This is related to another possible definition that firmware is, (...) (26 years ago, 1-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Name of Robolab RCX2 Firmware file?

Hi, you can see the firmware version of the file just b_e_f_o_r_e you load it into the RCX. This would spend a lot of time because every firmware download needs more than 4 minutes with normal download speed. In the newer versions the firmware (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

How do I get the "RCX2" firmware into my RCX? I have a RIS 1.5, and would like to program to the RCX2 API as defined in the RcxCC IDE's documentation. Thanks... (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: stop task

(...) It is not a rather awkward option, imho. That's like saying breaking out of an infinite loop using a flag is awkward and that it would be better to have some form of stop loop keyword that you could use from outside the loop instead. Is it (...) (17 years ago, 24-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Custom firmware crashing on boot

Hey, I'm new here, so if I seem like a n00b, it's probably because I am. Hopefully my question won't be too annoying. I'm trying to use the NXTGCC 0.0.9 package as a starting point for custom firmware. The main point of my custom firmware is to swap (...)
