Shutdown/Off while program running crashes BrickOS

I have a big and somewhat complicated BrickOS program that I believe is reasonably well behaved. All my loops monitor shutdown_requested and I have tested stopping the program with the Run button while the program is in various states and it always (...)   RE: Reading Datalog

RobotC RCX firmware is compatible with Robolab and the vast majority of the Ghost API messages. You can get this firmware by installing an evaluation copy of RobotC. If you are using Robolab, then there are a large variety of VIs available for (...) (17 years ago, 2-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I'm using what appears to be called BrickOS 0.9.0. It was installed using John Hansen's simplified installation from his BricxCC sourceforge site. I was under the impression that on later versions of BrickOS, like what I am using, the firmware (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

I never had the clicking brick problem; I followed the instructions from the website for updating the driver to version 1.02. But the poblem is still there. I've done all the (...) Perhaps I'll answer with a short list of projects that we have realized so far: 1.The most complicated thing I've done with Ultimate_PIC -I have to familiarize with that name now- using the 16F628A is a bi-directional half-duplex (...)   control multiple mindstorms robots using 1 IR tower!

Hi all! I'd like to control multiple mindstorms robots using one IR tower with replacing the default firmware for RCX unit to leJOS! Is it possible? I do consider the problem of how to distinguish the different RCX units inside the robots within the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

In both NXC and NBC you can use these operations as you would expect in a C-like (...) (17 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

When you want to read from I2C device, the NXT firmware first sends a write message to load the internal index "pointer" for the I2C device and then sends a read message that will read the requested number of (...)
