| 1. Hardware upgrade to USB IR tower: Dacta is Lego's educational division. For some reason, in the US it is known as Pitsco. NQC is not actually a full C compiler, it has been simplified a great deal and if you learn the basics from a book, you'd be ready to go with NQC (...) | Im a programmer so language isn't an issue. What's the status of these firmware replacements? I've looked around them some and I like BrickOs but I don't see any functions in there for the IO IR Port on the RCX! Is it just a better bet to stay with (...) | Hi Pieter, I'll take a shot at it... It's possible you may be experiencing a transmission problem on the RCX side. That's not to say that your RCX can't transmit IR data correctly... obviously it can since you are able to download BrickOS and that (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
