| Luis, Thanks for the info. I do have Win 95 and tried installing there ... same errors. Then, I tried the Windows install using cygwin. The newer one has no problems with BrickOS, the older one will only work using the slow transfer speed and does not turn on easily after the BrickOS firmware is loaded onto it. Usually (...) | RCX IR does not require direct line of sight. All sorts of reflections will work. Especially if you're in a "smallish" (bedroom, home office) room. The RCX firmware always has the IR turned off. | I got an RIS 2.0 for Xmas, and starting fiddling with it that night. It worked fine. I downloaded the firmware, and was able to download and run programs without problem... the software works fine as far as I can see. I am working with Win98SE on a (...)
