  Re: O'Reilly book news

(...) There's tons of precedent on using trademarked names in titles of books. I don't believe my publisher was ever seriously concerned about losing a court case. But they didn't want to bother going to court, and there's a lot of value in a good (...) (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: LDCC and RCX gizmos (long)

(...) What I don't undersatnd is why you're geting involved with this. (...) No, removing the batteries does not clear the firmware and programming - it takes only a minute if you have your RCX easily accessable (by good machine design). A poor (...)   Re: rtlToronto14 AC issue and entrants

(...) Well, agreeing with Wayne about saving batteries isn't a good reason for voting "no" (just to screw your fellow competitors). I was just re-emphasizing what Calum said in an earlier post, "Yeah, sure you do. I won't take the excuse you can't (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Bruce pointed out that the way he builds, he does not use foresight and plan to have easy access to his RCX. I like to use more motors than is necessary, so I like the AC. as well, it allows a person to use time, as a way to control things, (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
