Is bluetooth signal strength field work or not?

First, My NXT's firmware version is 1.05.(retail version) There is a field named "Bluetooth Signal Strength" in return package of the "GetDeviceInfo" command. I guess, It tells the strength of bluetooth radio that received NXT brick. But it is (...) (16 years ago, 16-Mar-09, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: RCX not listening to IR remote

Firstly, do you have the firmware on the RCX in question? If the screen shows 00.00.00 then you should be good (i think). Turn on the RCX, and start pressing buttons. Connected motors and lights should start doing "things" repsonding to the (...) (15 years ago, 26-Oct-09, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Question about RIS version differences

There are four aspects to the RIS kit and the RCX brick: 1. Hardware. This is primarily the RCX brick itself. As other posts have pointed out the main difference is that the original RCX 1.0 brick has a power adapter jack, while later versions (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics)

NQC can do a LOT more with the 2.0 firmware than it can with the earlier versions - a quick check of the manual turns up: * arrays, * local variables, * access controls and events, * global motor controls, * sound mute and un-mute, * clearing (...)   RE: IR Problems

Elizabeth is quite right. It's easy to get collisions on the IR "bus" if two devices are sending (or replying) simultaneously. What I've done in the past with two RCXs is define one RCX as primary that is periodically (every 100 to 250 milliseconds (...) (18 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I definitely intended to mean portable source. And that the "__FIRMWARE" would be used in compiler directives rather than in the code.
