By this I take it you mean something that executes bytecodes the same
way the standard firmware does? That would be pretty cool, I think folks
could learn a lot by stepping through their NQC programs.
Another really useful tool would be the addition of RCX I/O emulation to
the H8 emulator in GDB. Then you could run your NQC programs in the
standard firmware running in GDB. :) I'd like to play with legOS and do
some firmware hacking when I get time, and RCX support in GDB would be
great for that.
If a bytecode interpreter is what you had in mind, perhaps the UI code for
that project could be built so that it could be hooked into an H8 emulator
later.
BTW, don't you have a day job? ;)
