Re: RIS 2.0 upgrade CD? (part 3805)

The Mindstorms SDK 2.5 is still available, which includes the 2.0 firmware. If you don't want the actual 2.0 version of the graphical programming software then this should be all you need. (URL) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

Re: Externally Powered Monorail running on LDCC

(...) Thanks! I didn't get LDCCset up at the show--I lost the RCX firmware. Derek brought in a USB tower but Sunday was pretty busy so I let the monorails run off a regular train controller for the day. I'll probably get the layout LDCC'ed for the (...)   Re: Faulty Output

(...) My Scout had one motor port which was rather flaky. It would periodically stop working, but jiggling the wire would often fix it. Lego was willing to fix it but I was too lazy to send it in. So I opened my scout up and saw that the connection (...) (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Language wiki

(...) Looks like a nice start. I have two suggestions. Several of the languages work with the standard LEGO firmware. (NQC, MindScript, LASM) It would be good to note that somewhere. Second, BricxCC is a nice piece of software that works with MOST (...) (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Running RIS 2.0 on XP

I am very new to Robotics. We got RIS 2.0 a couple of days ago and have been working on getting it set up on the computer. Today I got the software (included with the set) running on my Windows 98 laptop, but I cannot get it to run on my Windows XP (...) (20 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Getting started; FFT; millisecond timing

Hi everyone, my first posting. First off, heartfelt thanks to Ralph for pbForth. Having recently (Jan 2004) got hold of Mindstorms 2.0 I thought I would lay out the way I found to get up and running with pbForth. It took me a week or two to figure (...)   LM Vision Command for WinXP

Hello everyone, This is an old topic but I need your help. I acquired the set 9731 LM Vision Command without the original software and I can't found the English version for WinXP nowhere. At BrickLink, only other languages are on sale for WinXP. Can (...) (8 years ago, 4-Mar-17, to lugnet.robotics)

  RCX to Spybot communication

This is a reposting of a message I posted yesterday in just the Spybotics newsgroup. I forgot to add .rcx and .rcx.nqc so I thought it was worth the double post. My apologies. (...) (...) You can use events with a 1.0 RCX, but only if you load the 2.0 firmware into it. Download the FIRM0328.LGO firmware file instead of the FIRM0309.LGO file before you load your NQC programs into the brick. The newer firmware was supplied with (...)
