I was reading about rotation sensors for legOS for a new robot, and thought I'd try it out. So, I made a simple program that would show rotation sensor values on the display. (...) Actually, the sensors themselves don't generate an interrupt. The interrupt to read the sensors is from a timer, and it just cycles through the sensors waiting to read the next one. Hi Tobias, after downloading firmware V2.0 you can continue to work with the graphical programming tool RIS 1.5 as well as with NQC. But you cannot use the new features ... Up to now you have to switch to the V2.0 programming environment to use the (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I'm using NQC 2.2 (but I also had the problem with 2.1) to compile programs for my RCX. I don't see how to control whether the LED in the light sensor is on or off. Doing a SetSensor didn't do it...I had to run an old program from Gordon's Brick (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Hello I've been having trouble with an RCX. It relates to a rotation sensor. What will happen is in the program, the motor will run until the sensor activates and instead of reversing direction like its supposed to, it continues at a slower speed in (...) (...) before (...) I just tried using the Wait() command for up to 5 seconds. Still didn't work. I remember reading that the Vision Command required the new firmware. Yes. Just install the ATLclient on your pc. Start it and download the new firmware into the rcx. Works just fine. Tim (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)
