  Re: New LEGO Ambassador Group!

(...) Congratulations to all of the Cycle 6 Ambassadors, and thank you to everyone who applied! It's great to know that there is so much interest in the LEGO Ambassador program from clubs all around the world. I am looking forward to being a part of (...)   Re: Now Accepting Nominations for 08/09 LEGO Ambassadors

(...) I can confirm having identical results to Willy's - this morning, I received the same automated message. I submitted my application materials on May 23 in order to make sure I was sufficiently in advance of the deadline. -Jordan Schwarz (16 years ago, 3-Jun-08, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Now Accepting Nominations for 08/09 LEGO Ambassadors

(...) I've just received an update from Jean-Marc Nimal regarding this on behalf of the Ambassadors. There is nothing to worry about; these messages were sent out in error in the course of moving some messages around on the mail server. It sounds (...) (16 years ago, 3-Jun-08, to lugnet.lego)

Re: LDD question - how to rotate pieces?

(...) Hi Dave, Use the arrow keys to rotate pieces. When you insert a new piece, I believe it always defaults to the same orientation. If you want to insert a bunch of identical bricks with a particular rotation, you can always insert the first one (...) (16 years ago, 2-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

  New MOC: PT5 Albescent Cormorant

The Cormorant debuted at BrickCon 08, but it's history goes back 9 years to a post-Mindfest build inspired by my haul from that event. I ended up with a bunch of wings with no matching pairs, so I built a ship to use them. (URL) The first draft> (...)   Re: Where have the axels gone?

(...) Actually, it's a coded message regarding the future of 9V trains... No, just kidding. Here's what really happened: For the trainwheel part on the LEGO PAB website, there is a "diameter" symbol (looks like a circle with a diagonal line across (...)   Re: Where have the axels gone?

(...) I've got a theory on this - and you're welcome to test it! First, you can still order a train wheel axle by creating an LDD model of the train wheel set and ordering it (kind of silly, but it works). If you do this, LDD will report that the (...) (16 years ago, 29-May-08, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: The future was yesterday

(...) Wow! Nice work, Tim! It's got quite the Steampunks-go-to-Mars feeling - it's very neat, and as always, not only is the overall concept delightful, but the models themselves are works of art and technique. I'm very impressed! -Jordan (17 years ago, 23-May-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Blue Mountain & Reading #425

(...) As with other trains of yours, this one transcends the line between train and work of art. I just think it's great! Models like this one are a clear reminder of why the LEGO Train hobby is so great! (as are BBB wheels) Very nice work! -Jordan (17 years ago, 23-May-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Hobby Train

Jordan - thanks for your reply. For some reason I thought the trains that were proposed for 2009 (based on the new power functions) were referred to as "Hobby Train". I am familiar with the set that was released with that same name. So anyone else (...) (16 years ago, 9-Oct-08, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LEGO Magnet and coupler statement.

(...) In the hi-res images of the new buffers, one can see an "S"-shaped line running across the face of the magnet enclosure; it appears to be made of two halves that are then assembled and held together with a slot-and-locking tab mechanism. I (...) (17 years ago, 16-May-08, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Buffers appear in LDD.
