  Re: Fence colours

Darn. I though I was the only one that liked that pink color. I've got a book on Miami Beach Art Deco Architecture of the 1930's. WOW, it is awesome! I plan on recreating some of these fabulous Art Deco Moderne 1930's pastel creations using some of (...) (26 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Ya know folks, this is what I really love about being in contact with all of you AFOL's, both in Lugnet and RTL - sharing all this info. Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Now that we've analyzed the Low Corner Slopes, how about Steep Corner Slopes. Granted Steep Slopes don't come in Service Packs (too bad), and are therefore much much scarcer (...) (26 years ago, 25-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Curiosity...

  Macaroni Bricks.

I copied this over from RTL: Gary Istok (...) That's right, you used to be able to buy the macaroni bricks in red, white, blue, yellow, black, clear, and later in the '60s also in grey. They came in the Supplemental parts packs that were available (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Fence colours

I was browsing thru some of may old fence pieces, and came across an old parts pack from 1982, small set #1209 (in clear plastic bag) which I purchased in Germany. It was sold with the train accessories, and contains 6 red (2x4) pieces and 1 red (...) (26 years ago, 1-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

Thanks for the info Mark, I guess those 2x3 black gates aren't as rare as I originally thought. But to put them together with red fence pieces? That seems pretty strange. It makes me think that sometimes TLG puts together service packs based on (...) (26 years ago, 1-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) No problem Simon, a gable (in the context I am using it) is a peak roof piece. A gable connector is one of those 2x2 (regular sloped) peak pieces that looks like someone took a bite out of it. In a roof construction, it is used when you use (...) (26 years ago, 1-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

  1960's Architectural Parks Packs

I copied this over from RTL, Gary Istok Folks, In the 1980's I purchased about 20 "architectural" parts packs (all small plates (1x1, 1x2, 2x2, 2x3 and 2x4) in Germany, that look like they were geared towards adults, and not children.   Re: Wax removal?
