Re: !!!IMPORTANT!!!-SPUDS No fault of TLG-!!!IMPORTANT!!!

Mike, I can't help but agree with you in many respects, especially juniorization. Also, I think that Lego Direct has been especially harshly treated. They can only do so much as far as selling spare parts. If LD could sell us rare or old parts, I (...) (24 years ago, 23-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 2x2 clear plate!

(...) The set with the most 2x2 clear plates was #520. This 1963-66 parts pack set, came in these colors: red, white, blue, black, gray, clear, and in 1965 it came out in yellow (in the USA/Canada it also came out in green in 1963). The small box (...)   Re: Bulk Brick Sales In LegoLand Calif.

(...) James, I agree with you 100% about the black windows looking good with black roof (and white bricks). I was fortunate enought to find 2 small classic 1x2x2 windows in Germany (as well as one rarer 1x1x2 tall thin window). And I have always (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO Quality

Duq, I am glad to hear that the 396 sets was one thing that you did leave that store in Germany with. I found 2 of those about 10/12 years ago in a German town called Mittwitz near the former East/West German border. Actually I bought one on 1989 (...) (24 years ago, 5-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) Actually Manuel, I am not Classic window/door complete. In red, white, yellow, blue, black and gray, there are 113 different classic window/door varieties, I have 111 of them. There are 2 that I am missing, but I haven't really attempted to (...) (24 years ago, 5-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

I bet that KKK is making this pitch to get the beaurocrats in Copenhagen to make some changes. You have to realize that there is not that much going on in Jutland (the part of Denmark that Billund is in), commerce wise, and LEGO is the major (...) (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)

Thanks for the info Tore. I have your website in my website bookmarks. I really love the Swedish advertisements.   Re: Top 50 LEGO sets of all time

Since this list consists predominantly of sets from the last 20 years, I would add a few others that I think people would have loved, had they been old enought to enjoy them (from the 60's and 70's). Here's my own top 7 list of older sets: 1) (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general)

Are they twisted slightly (warped) when you look at one of the longer edges of a 2x4 brick?" If not then you do have only ABS, and some of (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.general)
