Re: Datsville continuation - more ideas

(...) I don't know. That's why I asked. :o) I will try to render a lot of ttore.dat's in a model and compare the time used to the time used to render the same model with box replacements. (...)   Datsville continuation - more ideas

I've been thinking about simplification. What if we replaced all non-clear bricks, plates and tiles that have no visible studs and are not seen from below with plain boxes? Yes, I know that it is virtually impossible to make a program that checks (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)

  RFC: New game Legator

Hi, I baught LEGO Creator some time ago and liked it, mostly. I was surprised by the comfort, speed and fun of building. It was very similar to playing real LEGO. But it had a few major problems, namely: * Cannot tilt bricks * Small array of brick (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.games, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: This is stupid... I can't tolerate this *juniorization*...

(...) How do think TLC can do this? Make a Castle Kingdom for $50.00? Impossible. Kids buy lego because of its ability to create, and parents buy Lego because of its educational value. Lego was always an expensive toy, not just now. So if the price (...) (23 years ago, 11-Aug-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) Of course children deserve love and fair treatment, but it doesn't make sense to me to say we (adults) shouldn't tell kids what to do. Perhaps you're being too general with that statement. The only thing though, the cockpit really didn't seem to fit in, maybe that's you wrecked it, I destroyed a mescherschmidt the other day in a fit (...) (...) Sure. I'm deeply disturbed by the seeming perception that the only two states that a child can occupy are a) subordinate inferiors and b) overindulged family tyrants.   New renders and models

Hi all, Today I have put up some new renders of models at my site. Among them are the projects that are already there: Impossible figures, Infinate Waterfall (Escher), Rhino and the Black and Blue Space Ship. What is new? There is a new "Render" (...)
