Doh! I was there this morning but instead ran to all the Targets first. They sold 32 this morning! At least I got the last 7 they had. John2, You may not need to get a couple of million bricks for your 8 wide layout. You can just use mine. It will be built to allow 8 wide trains to run. I fixed the problems with the turns being too sharp and am going to next fix the track point (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

I viewed the pages w/Netscape and as some folks pointed out, the left frame shows a horizontal slider (it doesn't with MSIE). So I widened the frame a bit. Why would they have a clearance sale and then not have the stock to be cleared out? I don't know how much they pay TLC for the sets, but I doubt its much less than $50-60. You MAY have gotten it for that much from WBStore. I ordered a bunch right after they went on sale, and called today to confirm shipment, and was told EVERYTHING from both of my orders is on backorder until Feb 18! The ones in the South Bay are totally inconsistent. I just called several, and they haven't marked them down further, even though they are in the same region. It would be nice if Target was consistant. The two near me work in two different worlds. A couple of weeks ago, one had things at 40% while the other was at 75% off.
