  Re: 4811 Defense Archer!

Oops, I was confused as to which system showed the old catalog, and now it is showing the new catalog. The machine which was showing the old catalog is one of our central servers, still an RS/6000 though. At this point, I would have to say that it (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.publish)

(...) And remember, everyone, take an ample supply of bricks to your bunker with you! The basic Lego brick has been Y2K compliant since 1949 or so! Here's a laugh for you, a media type was proudly displaying an ATM receipt he got, dated 1/1/00 (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Building a Mini-fig Army, how much to pay

(...) Because you like the new castle, you are in luck - without the a "figures" pack, it still rocks for getting soldiers. Here is why: 4811 - the Defense Archer (whenever he comes out) - you get one full minifig with a shield for around $1.99 (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Future Wild West Possibilities

(...) I had one set of plastic Civil War soldiers when I was about 4, but I haven't seen many other toys. However, this points out an interesting market trend that addresses a point made elsewhere on this thread: Someone suggested that a Civil War (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.western)

I like the idea so long as there is some mechanism which makes sure that those who don't sit glued to their computer all day will get a decent chance to receive a box, and even better, something that makes sure there is a good flow (i.e. if (...)
