(...) The problem is that 1.5, does not have the vbx file to allow these to work. You have to get this from a version 1 system. (...) 1.5, adds quite a few useful pieces, but loses a few others. So, the RCX is acknowledging the IR tower command string, based on receipt of a EOS of some sort, perhaps, and OmniRemote can't process that ACK? (...) I found out about it by calling Lego Consumer Affairs. The number is 1-800- 453-4677. I just asked about the Lego Mindstorms Robotic Invention System (RIS) Upgrade.
