I found out about it by calling Lego Consumer Affairs.  The number is 1-800-
453-4677.  I just asked about the Lego Mindstorms Robotic Invention System
(RIS) Upgrade. The lady asked if I wanted to order, so I asked how much it
would be.  She said FREE, but shipping is charged.  The offer ends March 31,
2000, so you can take your time.  I think shipping is 3.95, or something, and
they will take a check.  Just call and ask to see for youself.

Legoer,

About the upgrade 1.5 :

You can easily ask about it by sending an e-mail to lego directly
(including your customer nr).
Here in europe, I can't afford paying U S long distance telephone calls.
So, I simply sent an e-mail to   mailto:LEGO@dk.ibm.com and asked for
the upagrade.

Another problem is the interest of paying 25$ for the upgrade if you are
not eligible for the free one...

Anyway, I ordered mine like this, but did not received it yet. We'll
see...

Phil.
