About the upgrade 1.5 :
You can easily ask about it by sending an e-mail to lego directly
(including your customer nr).
Here in europe, I can't afford paying U S long distance telephone calls.
So, I simply sent an e-mail to mailto:LEGO@dk.ibm.com and asked for
the upagrade.
Another problem is the interest of paying 25$ for the upgrade if you are
not eligible for the free one...
Anyway, I ordered mine like this, but did not received it yet. We'll
see...

| I found out about it by calling Lego Consumer Affairs. The number is 1-800- 453-4677. I just asked about the Lego Mindstorms Robotic Invention System (RIS) Upgrade. The lady asked if I wanted to order, so I asked how much it would be. She said FREE, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| I just tried (11:30 PM) to order a 1.5 upgrade from Shop at Home. Not a free one, this is for one of the first Mindstorms sold. No dice. Said I couldn't order anything that wasn't in the catalog. I gave her the number I got off Lego World Shop, (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
