  Monorail

I have for sale the following Monorail sets. 6399 6990 and 6991 together with track accessory packs 6347 and 6921. These are all used sets. There are a few pieces missing from 6399 including one lamp post(red), one mini fig and a few other pieces. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Rose window question

(...) Hmmm. Well, as much as I've considered building a Cathedral, I've never done it. My own suggestion for rose windows would be to use the stepped half-arches and the stepped inverted half arches (I don't know what other people call them, but the (...)   Re: New Small Church

(...) I think your castle church is cool, nice and simple. Some people go way over board. I am going build on myself soon. I just constructed a hugh Hotel. Great design, you should create a LDRAW file, because it is not too big! See ya Jim (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

RE: Psion 3 communication with scout?

Thanks. I already have your list of byte codes and the Lego SDK doc. All very useful. I look forward to your examples of downloading! I'm going to start reading up on Psion serial communication this weekend - I've been looking for an excuse to start (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics.scout)

Re: Increasing the range of the radio signal

(...) Yes, the cybermaster uses the 27Mhz band. I have checked all the solutions you tell me but it's no use. I think the problem isn't the PC to cybermaster direction but the direction from cybermaster to PC. Do you use batteries or accumulators in (...)   Re: Help!

(...) I agree it still fills a big need, Pause only gives you the catalog scan of most sets, Fibblesnork gives you the minifigs, another view since he uses 99% Instruction scans, and everything lumped together by series and genre. Granted you can do (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: When is "Not an Auction" really an auction?

(...) Of course shill bidding is not unique to proxy bidding systems, though it does provide a way for the shill to obtain more information about your maximum bid if they over bid you, cancel the bid, and then re-bid just under your maximum bid. On (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: WANT LIST

<chant> Metroliner Metroliner </chant> I agree Frank, Any old train stuff would be more than welcome! Of course I could always mention I would love to get my hands on a Guarded Inn, though I'm sure there's no prospect of finding that at a decent (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Kmart sale next week - buy 1, get 1 50% off

(...) Here's hoping we will get to buy the 2000 LEGO sets in their first week at sale prices... Unfortuanately, this probably means that even if K-Mart could get the sets on the shelf for next week, that they will hold them back... (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Where is dl for unix?

Hi, I need to get the dl program to load the bootstrap code on my handyboard. I seem to remember that it used to live on the handyboard site with the contribution code, but I've pretty much had a look everywhere and could not find it. Anyone knows (...)   Ep 1 sets marked down at Target

First let me say that I KNOW it is 19.99 at TRU.com but then my wife will know how much I charged on the credit cardso I buy lego with cash. I was at Target yesterday and they have the Sith Infiltrator for $24 ( AKA grey plates service pack). There (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Black Thunder? (was LEGO Outlet @ Potomac Mills Mall is now shipping!)

The Black Thunder wasn't part of the 1999 product line, at least it wasn't in the dealers' catalog according to another AFOL who works at a local toy store. Strange that it only had a one-year run, and quite disappointing given the great parts (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.modelteam)

Re: TRU stuff shipped yet? Anyproblems?

(...) I don't know why Troy got them but I think it would be worth it just for the Figs. Both of them make great generic Figs (peasants) in a Castle setting, of course you need to change Mauls head but thats about it. There are also a couple of nice (...)   Re: Help!

(...) I linked to Fibblesnork pages with the hope she'd check the minifigures out, but I didn't know about John DiR's page. Cool. Thanks, Larry. This is one of the most useful things about Fibblesnork - the minifig scans. Fibblesnork is no longer (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Crappy Parcel Force service

(...) From my dealings with Royal Mail et al at work, addresses are read from the bottom upwards, i.e. postcode then post town... Their excuse would be that yours was the lower address and therefore the delivery address 8-( If you write your 'from' (...) (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: New Small Church

(...) If there's some constructive criticism I can give, then it would have to be that the surface walls of the walls are a bit even and "dull". If you could put some more "texture" on the surface, it may look even more realistic. Fredrik (25 years ago, 3-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)
