What I do not want to see in RIS 2.0

I was sorry to see that one basic - and in my opinion important - change from RIS 1.0 to 1.5 is the fact that LEGO in response to alleged customer demands included three "ready-to-go" robots in the new Constructopedia. While I do not want to exclude (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Now youv'e done it, you mentioned the "M" word. Dare I mention Apple. I have stuck with them through the the good, the bad and the ugly. Like them or hate them it is difficult to argue that they haven't been true to their purpose "Think (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Tilt and Walking

Let's take walking first. Things fall over when there is an unbalanced moment (also called a torque) applied to them. If the moment (force times distance) is balanced, for example by pressure from their feet, they can stand upright. When things (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Help! The Classic 4-blade rotor has been overwritten!

To all who SHOULD be concerned: In the latest LDraw upgrade, the 4 bladed rotor (it was included in many McDonalds happy meal sets in the middle 1980s) with the blades the size of a 1x2 plate radiating around a 1 x 1 x 2/3 hole (Part #3464) has been (...)   Lego Promoting "The Phantom Menace"...
