  Re: Ghosts?

(...) fig: (...) And I was kicking myself for not thinking of the Time Cruisers... gotta get them in my database, there are enough Castle/Pirate pieces in there to be useful. Glad I could help. Heather (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Version 1.5 - no spirit.ocx - can't use RcxCC

Teaching with Robolab at the college level, I'd like to use the NCQ environment in class. I'd also like to use the RcxCC "wrapper" since I perceive it to be a little more "user friendly" at their level. Problem is that the new Robolab Version 1.5 (...)   Re: LEGO Outlet store - NOTICE!

(...) I just got off the phone with the manager - Buffie. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE STORE #: 703-490-1335. (Not the other number she listed) She is GREAT. She is determined to be the highest retail sales in the US. And to accomplish this she's (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: How quick does shop@home ship?

(...) He is serious, that is their committment.(1) However they have a 99+% track record of beating that committment. Expect your stuff in quite a bit less than that time. 1 - It's kind of like how NorthWest improved their on time record, they (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: lack of interest in basic stamp and basicx

(...) What I've always wondered about the Basic Stamp is why anyone would want to use Basic to program an microcontroller. I love Basic but when coding for a robot I want to take full advantage of the hardware, and that means programming it in Forth (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  V1.5 - no spirit.ocx

I'd like to use NCQ with my new Robolab challenge set... but the CD with V1.5 I received does not include spirit.ocx. Anyone know how to get this? Couldn't find on Lego's site.   Re: Ghosts?

(...) No reason to cancel - your message is correct. The Time Cruiser sets did come with ghosts, and they had legs rather than bricks for feet. Raymond Flournoy posted a memorable message about this in r.t.l about a year or two ago which is worth (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  How quick does shop@home ship?

It's been a while since I bought anything through shop@home, and thus have a question. Last night I bought some train track for my christmas layout, which I was planning on setting up over thanksgiving weekend. Now, the order guy said that it'd be (...)   Re: More Questions from Another Train Newbie

(...) The track is flexible enough that you can adjust the alignment - and if you're trying to mount everything down to baseplates you're going to have to get creative in the corners anyway... John1, GMLTC (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: What is the exact meaning of MIB?

(...) What effect, if any, does it have on the bricks themselves? What about overly long soaking, like if you forget and soak them for an entire day? (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Musing on Tiberius Flint

The Eternal Champion does Lego! Very nice, bravo, hip-hip-hooray. Always pursue those creative demons.   Re: What is the exact meaning of MIB?

(...) Yeah, I agree. Besides, why should smokers who are buyers care if someone proudly promotes the fact that he is not sending out smelly Lego bricks? Smoking sucks. The smell sucks. It seeps into everything it touches and makes it suck. No stinky (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

What is a "Rock Monster" worth?

I recently bought a "Rock Raiders" set with a rock monster in it. I have found someone who wants to buy or trade for it, what is the consensus about the relative value of this piece? All replies appreciated. (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: lack of interest in basic stamp and basicx

A more precise definition of what I mean by "Lego fan" in this context would be someone who wants to build robots, but not get down to the "workshop floor" with the soldering iron, the screwdriver and the such...   Re: Anyone using motors, etc. in Castle creations?
