If you check (URL) you will find IRPD's with very narrow detection zones. Those are good for many applications. Update: Sounds like I may just be panicy. According to someone else that I talked to, surface mail (which I am assuming it was) takes between 6-10 weeks for delivery. So it could very possibly still be on the way... Sorry to panic anyone else (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

Actually, My thoughts were of mounting it geared in such a way that the light sensor traces a circular path without ever actually, itself, rotating. Garry- I can't speak to your problem specifically, but you may actually want to try to make the HP speak directly to the RCX, skipping the IR Tower altogether. no, to do the battery run-down test, you must not have it plugged in! otherwise you'd just be powering it from the adapter, and you'd never run out of juice. so, the steps are: 1. bootload your HB with pcode_hb.s19. you should see the Interactive C (...)
