Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

(...) Well, wrong and not wrong. Bulk order accepted at 6 cents, yes. You, no. They allowed me to make such an order, but then I was told that none of the items were available. My order was for almost 150,000 elements for a total of just under nine (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Utah Legomaniacs group name nominations

I checked and Nutlug.org, .net and .com are still available. My worldwide google search failed twice (timed out). Ashley (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ut, lugnet.loc.us.ut.slc, lugnet.org.us)

Re: Name voting (Was: Utah name dicussion: lug or no lug)

I've been thinking over the weekend about a name for our Utah group. How about... NUTLUG (Northern Utah Lego Users Group) I realized that all of us are actually in the Northern half of Utah...even those of you in Orem/Provo etc. Nutlug is now my (...) (...) So are you dual-booting to NT to use Photoshop or to Linux to use The Gimp? You can put together a second machine for next to nothing. I know, I just put together my 3rd machine. Got 'em all hooked up to my Cybex SwitchView, and away I go! (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.people)

Re: Big Brother is Watching (and reading, too!)

(...) Yeah, for the really popular hard-to-find parts 500+ is a small number. I'd take 1000 in gray, green, and white right now. Oh, and black. (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: NELUG - Some things we learned while presenting at Mindfest

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't we already have a foot in the door? Didn't someone (Mike Poindexter?) post that we could get a bulk order accepted for $.06 per piece for the bricks available in the standard tub? It seems to me that that is an (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

High praise for TLG after seeing 4288 bucket for first time

Dear LEGO, It seems there has been a lot of TLG bashing going on lately, in several threads, in various newsgroups. I must admit, I'm as guilty as anyone when it comes to making complaints about the current state of LEGO. So I thought it only fair (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: NELUG - Some things we learned while presenting at Mindfest

(...) It can be a very hard ballance to strike. I know, having been there, done that from both sides. I've exibited since I was 7 or so (rallied a steam traction Engine when I was 9 for 3 years).
