Re: Are any other Photobot II pictures availalbe? Suctionbot?

Linc, you are absolutely correct about this group--the advice provided (often at great length) and the sense of community are wonderful. The only negatives postings I've seen so far have been about products (specifically the Micro Scout) that don't (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Inventories

(...) Supposedly Office 2000 fixes or addresses this issue. It allows you to save a file in older versions. The problem you run into is that whenever a new feature is added into a program, it requires that the file format be modified to accept the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: 9.6V POWER AND 9V MOTORS

(...) Measure the resistance of the motor's windings. Motors are typically rated in max current, NOT max voltage. Take any voltage and divide it by the winding resistance to get the current the motor will draw at stall (and when it is initally (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: What about the Micro Scout?

(...) Yeah, I know... I'm a little strange when it comes to R2-D2. Back in 1977 I was in junior high school, and I decided I was going to build an R2-D2 about 12 inches high with radio remote control. Of course, I never built one, the furthest I got (...)   More Southern Fest pics and new website

I finally got my pics back and incorporated them onto my new website, which also features a group photo from the Scottish Legofest earlier this year. Small beginnings I know but we all have to start somewhere. I hope to expand and improve it as a (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Alcuni interrogativi

(25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Photos added: Caboose, modified 6561

I have posted some new images to my web page. A couple of pictures of the trolley crossing project, a caboose, and a modified engine from the new train set #6561 (These are on the PROJECTS page). These are the first images I have put up and am not (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Who is Robin Hood?

I see your point, however it seems that the line between ruler and subject was not as clear as it is in today's sets. If you look at the King's Castle 6080, you would be hard pressed to say there is one particular "King" in that set. There are (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New SW Contest Page Preview

Thanks for the comments! (...) I was planning on adding some back to main button. (...) I'll make the secondary images links as well. (...) I'll turn last Lego plate image into 'the back to main' button. (...) Yeah, I used my main site as a (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: North-west Fest

I can take either day, and I whole-heartedly intend to be there... classrooms of kids permitting! If I need to mark umpteen exercise books I may be a little late, but I *will* be there! David Leese Tony Priestman wrote in message ... (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

FA: 6285 BSB, 6081 King's Mountain Fortress, 6276 Eldorado Fortress

I recently picked up these sets from a friend, as part of a large collection of Lego, and since I'm only interested in Space themes, I've decided to auction these sets off. They are: 6081 King's Mountain Fortress (Haunted Castle): complete, no box (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Who is Robin Hood?

Re: truck wheels: 5563 vs 5571

Maybe I over-reacted. I just hate to see a line of models get cheaper-looking and more expensive at the same time, at least that's the way it seemed to me when I first looked at the new catalog's Model Team pages. I've never seen a "two-axle (...) (25 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.modelteam)

Re: New SW Contest Page Preview

  Re: Lego at Gerf.Org
