Re: Meeting over the y2k holidays?

(...) I'll be in the area from Dec. 27 through Jan. 7. I'll be able to drive over to Austin for any day (or two) in this time frame. Is it worth the drive to Houston to see NASA? Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.dfw, lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)

Re: Wanted: Pots, Pans, Cauldrons, Mugs, and Glasses

(...) That was the first thing that came to my mind too. Red isn't inherently a bad color; in some parts of Europe, at least, it is the predominant roof color (which presumably explains why it's so widely used by TLG in their sets). Or maybe red ABS (...)   Re: 6444 (and 8414 on sale)

Frank Filz found them at 9.99 - the local KB store (in the Bayfair mall, for SF-area folks) had 4 @ 12.99, so I bought all 4. This particular store had the 8414 set on sale for $19.99 - I bought one last night, there were 3 left. Paul Sinasohn who (...)   Re: Meeting over the y2k holidays?

(...) I'm going home to Ohio for about 7 days around Christmas (Dec 22nd thru Dec 29th) , but that sounds cool if I'm here in Austin at the time. What time period are you going to be in Texas? (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.dfw, lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)

Re: Toy Aid for children affected from Earthquake in Turkey

(...) Yes, returning what I can is not a problem...just gives me another excuse to go to the stores and see what's on the shelves :-) I think I will snap together the Duplo that I opened , in order to get more into one box. Too bad there's no (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Dual Differential Adder/Subtractor (again!)

Last night I built my own variant of the "Dual Differential Adder/Subtractor" cliche, basing it on the Cyberia (URL) "adjacent" design (thanks a million, whoever you are -- there was no mailto: link on the web page), modifying the cage length to (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

What you do is open your .dat file in either notepad or LDAO's Editor and copy everything that you see and paste it into the message. Pretty easy actually. Ryan ***...*** REPLY SEPARATOR ***...*** (...) to (...) do? (...) with (...) (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

How do I post dat-files to a dat-ng? I tried sending them as attachments to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas, but I got an error message saying "posts to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas must have dat-data included in them" How should I do? --Tobias (...) I (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Meeting over the y2k holidays?

Hey all, I'm going to be visiting my brother-in-law in Ft. Worth over the y2k holidays. I'd be real keen to meet up with anyone (any Legofests would be way cool! :-), and am willing to drive at least as far as Austin.   Any Comments on "Light Bricks?"
