Re: Motor problem

(...) Hi Magnus, a variety of reasons comes to mind: - Are you using a rechargeable battery? The 9V types of rechargeables sometimes lose power too quickly for such a rather demanding application. - If you let the motor run freely (i.e. without any (...)   Re: Motor problem

Hello Magnus, (...) From the symptoms you describe I would say you need "a bigger battery box". Battery boxes (and motors too) contain a current limiting device. It is a resistor whose value increase (a lot) with temperature. When you start your (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.technic)

Great work! I also want to congradulate you on your Norfolk and Western getting elected the best train at BrickWorld. Your trains and rail cars are certainly some of the best that I've seen. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Scott (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains)

Re: TLG wants your input on the CITY line

Lastly, a few general thoughts... I'd like to see a tub of bulk bricks, but one that is simply made up of extra parts from the current line of city buildings. This tub would contain parts to allow kids to finish their city buildings into complete (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

  Motor problem

Hello, I wondered if any motor-savvy Technic experts out there could help me out with a problem. I'm building a helpicopter, and am powering two rotors plus a light and sound double red light with a single old motor: (URL) a light and sound type (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I think it is safe to take away from this (and other posts), that everyone wants a representation of themself in the LEGO City. Would a theme that showcases the career with the highest number of people sell the highest number of sets? Scott (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

Re: TLG wants your input on the CITY line

(...) Great idea! I'd love to see any vehicle with this amount of detail from LEGO, and I think that we are finally starting to see them.   Re: TLG wants your input on the CITY line

Jordan, I'm glad that I am getting a better chance to respond to your post on this. Before, I didn't really understand why anyone would want a LEGO set of a school or a library, but after seeing how girls play with LEGO (and other toys), I can (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

My third recommendation... Utility Workers / Vehicles Every town has needs that have to be taken care of like plowing the snow, servicing power poles, and emptying garbage dumpsters. Some modern looking 6 wide vehicles for a theme of utility workers (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)
