Re: New Buffers appear in LDD.

(...) That's a cool idea, Dean! I hadn't thought of that possibility. It seems like that sort of system would have backward-compatibility issues with the past generation of magnetic couplers, though. If you brought a new mag coupler in contact with (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Buffers appear in LDD.

(...) Could they have North on the left, and south on the right, thus when two come together, each pole would be up against its opposite? This is the only way I can see it working, but I'm not sure what their side on strength would be. (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: le tragedie del trasloco

(...) Non potevi noleggiare un'auto o un furgone? Con quello che costano i biglietti dei treni, mi sa che ci risparmiavi. Ciao, Gabriele (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

(16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  LD4DStudio Beta 1 Release

Hello all, Yesterday I finally finished the first Beta version of LD4DStudio. Due to some server problems I had to wait one day to put it online, but after almost five years what's another day :) Besides the program itself I also wrote a complete (...)   Re: Lego show on Treasure HD Network

(...) There's a distinct difference between a licensed theme and a promotional theme. Maersk probably paid The LEGO Company to produce sets based on their transportation equipment. The LEGO Company had to pay out a licensing fee to Lucasfilm for the (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Re: Lego gun that fires modulex?

(...) There was one on sale on ebay and it was bid up to $767. I believe that there was a $5000.00 reserve on it, (URL) Johnson had a picture of it from a catalog so it is a real item. Jim Hughes gave a link to see it in black - (URL) P (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LDD has new bricks.

(...) Not a bad idea. Which I tried. It reported that two bricks were not available. But there are plenty of others that are in LDD but unavailable for sale now in pick-a-brick. I did find another method, a process of elimination. I used the select (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Re: LDD Problem opening a lxf file

(...) I ran into a similar problem, when I tried to use & in the file name (i.e: "trucks&motor"). LDD saved, apparently no problem, but later would not open the file. (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  Re: Help writing LDraw's history

(...) The alternative timelines I've checked out have either fewer features or don't display as nicely as we'd want for this. The original seems to be the best so far, and is really only lacking a couple features to make it ideal. Is anyone here (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

Re: Lets play the "Guess this Part" Game.

(...) Ah ha! Thanks Dave, I dont own that part, (I only have the similar part with the hook from the hockey sets) and I had no idea it was made without the hook.   Lego gun that fires modulex?

Is there anyone out there, that has any info on this??? (URL) with a few AFOLs about this, and to us, it seems a little too complex to be a one off plant in company "joke" with its firing mechanism, and with the age of modulex, and the companies (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.general)

Lets play the "Guess this Part" Game.

  Re: Its starting to happen...

(...) I have a couple of thoughts: 1. Ask the seller specifically what color it is. If you don't know the seller, don't assume they are familiar with the differences. The older, and more rare the color-part combination is, the more important it is (...) (16 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.color)

Re: Lego show on Treasure HD Network

(...) Oh yeah-- the questions were something like this (not sure of the order or the exact phrasing): 1. "Lego" is a contraction of 2 Danish words. What do those 2 words mean in English? 2. Lego's first castle set was released in 1978 and was in (...) (16 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.mediawatch)
