Re: Clearance Sale at constructiontoys.com for LUGNET readers

(...) After doing a bit of digging I found "For now, we are unable to ship outside the United States." midway down this page (URL) never ordered from them, but I was pretty sure they would ship to Canada in the past. Gail Meagher (19 years ago, 31-May-07, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

(...) This is one reason I like the address labels. Sure, no phone number, but they can at least mail you a letter if they care (and it looks valuable enough), and with a name and address, it's not too hard to get a phone number if they would rather (...)   Re: Ultimate ROBOLAB for PICs

(...) ...snip (...) Perhaps I'll answer with a short list of projects that we have realized so far: 1.The most complicated thing I've done with Ultimate_PIC -I have to familiarize with that name now- using the 16F628A is a bi-directional half-duplex (...) (...) Hmm... I can't seem to duplicate this problem. I've tried Firefox, Opera, and Explorer on both Windows and Macintosh computers. :-/ Some things to check: - Try spelling LUGNET in lowercase (I just added that as an alias code in our system) - (...)   Re: events /nxt vs. events/rcx

(...) Sigh... "good luck"? I don't mean to sound too negative, but this is a hard nut to crack under the standard FW I think... at least I've yet to figure out a way to do it to my satisfaction. In fact, more than almost any other single point, this (...) (19 years ago, 31-May-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: New part: 120° tri-axle

(...) Considering how the element isn't even used to any "high" potential (it holds on the legs of a destroyer droid), it seems likely that this fairly-obviously-TECHNIC element would be used for Grander Plans eventually, and one-would-hope, soon.   green city dump truck now available

I spotted the new green city dump truck (the one with the trailer) in a Toyworld today if anyone is interested in it. If anyone has seen any other new sets (such as the gas station or cement mixer) please let everyone know :) (19 years ago, 31-May-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

  events /nxt vs. events/rcx

Hi, I tried to write some code to simulate the events like in RCX. It starts to look cluttered. I understand that NXT VM does not support events like you find in the RCX. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated! Elizabeth (19 years ago, 31-May-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: Ultimate ROBOLAB for PICs

(...) The PICkit comes with a little PC board with a 16F690 on it. I don't know how that compares to the 16F88, but it does have a synchronous serial port. (19 years ago, 31-May-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Cafe' Corner (10182)--is anyone building this?

Re: Marking tracks and other Lego pieces

(...) I frequently borrow my sister's labeler (like (URL) to label anything going to shows. The smallest font can, with some scissor work, make labels that fit inside track.   Re: Ultimate ROBOLAB for PICs

(...) We actually worked a lot with the 16F88, which is a really great chip, something like a combination of the 16F628 and 16F819. But we didn't play with the I2C module on it yet. So that must obviously be our next challenge. (19 years ago, 31-May-07, to lugnet.robotics)
