  Re: Train doors and windows

Hey Larry, This consortium, is it a group of like minded cashed up profiteering middle men or a group who are genuinely trying to get the best deal for the rest of us? Just curious. So if the price per piece is > $1.00 and < $5.00, is it closer to (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Parts and Pattern

[cross-posted and follow-up set to lugnet.cad.dev] (...) Hi! (...) There was extensive discussion about this issue, before the L-CAD mailing list moved to lugnet.cad.dev.   Parts and Pattern

Hi ! after that nice welcome of John, I just state another question. To me it's more fun to do patterns than parts, so, there will be more patterns to come. There have been many LEGO sets with stickers in them, to put them on "composite" parts, (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: A new post

(...) Thanks for looking. A quick note for people, I imported the .dat files into Excel to 'clean them up' (put the bricks in some sort of building order) and Excel saved larger spaces (it tabbed the spaces). MLCad worked fine with the tabbed spaces (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: multiplexed touch sensors [was: Re ideas for a RIS 2.0]

(...) I gather the lever arms of the feelers gave you enough control over the touch sensor to stay mostly in the 100 to 110 range? It would seem to be difficult to keep the touch sensor in that position for long periods of time, since the sensor is (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  core problem of robotics

it seems to me the core problem of robotics is this: trying to have as many independent output actuators as possible while minimizing the number of motorized parts. the actuators should be fast, small, inexpensive, and powerful. it seems to me this (...)
