I have to admit I generally wander in and out of TRU feeling a bit embarrassed and hoping none of the assistants will notice me spending 20 minutes eyeing up all the Lego.   Re: ideas for a RIS 2.0 - Rechargability

I tried NiMH batteries in my RCX. It lost its firmware. I suspect the output voltage (6 x 1.2 = 7.2) is too low. You should be able to do it using an external battery pack, but I suggest you use 8 cells instead of 6. The resulting 9.6 volts shouln't (...) (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MacNQC for 64k Macs

I should add a link to the docs from the MacNQC page - sorry.   Do people contact the sellers for better descriptions?

I recently won a very nice lot of LEGO on Ebay for what turned out to be a very low bid. The item description was obviously incomplete as it started out stating there were 13 sets and then only 6-7 were listed before the description was truncated. I (...)
