  Re: rtlToronto22 Ideas?

How about autonomous tic-tac-toe, since this competition is scheduled to be a little more complex, maybe we could run a tic-tac-toe game. It should be easier then connect four, so more people should be able to build for it. Vitali (20 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Dirty Bricks '06 - Contest, Lego prizes and a bag of chips!

Well, the time has come again to have a nice friendly competition... There are contests that showcase a builder's skill. There are contests that showcase a builder's creativity. (...) You know, it looks an aweful lot like something that you left behind on my build table. Nice to see that it's still relevant. I hate to say it, but I like your balls. They've given me quite the education. -Duane (20 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Melting (re: rtl21)

(...) I think that may have been John's match against my robot.... oops.... It was one of the last matches... If I recall, it was a real tug-of-war, with about equal traction. Your bot was geared pretty fast, mine used one R/C motor, and 1:15 (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtl21, some post game analysis

(URL) I decided yesterday to do some analysis on the number of "insufferable" throwdown posts versus actual performance. As you can see, the ratio of trashtalk to wins is about 1:1 for DaveK, and 2:1 for Chris. Winners like JohnG, Edward and Vitali (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

Re: Problems using L3PAO on windows XP

Wait a sec... from the pov-file it looks like L3PAO actually call l3p directly, so I guess it's the path for LDRAWDIR that's wrong Anyways, don't start nitpicking about the file names - for some odd reason lugnet just want to hide the backward (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Problems using L3PAO on windows XP

As far as I can see, there simply isn't an autoexec.bat file on windows XP - so I can't follow Lars' instructions to tell the computer where to always look for L3p and Ldrawdir... So basically when L3PAO calls L3P, windows don't know where it is, (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
