I think that may have been John's match against my robot.... oops....
It was one of the last matches...
If I recall, it was a real tug-of-war, with about equal traction.
Your bot was geared pretty fast, mine used one R/C motor, and 1:15 reduction.
Your bot simply stalled the R/C motors, sending 3 to 7 amps through the
switch.... mine kept hopping along....
