Has anyone else come across this page before... (URL) we are talking history... kinda offers an alternative. I have no Idea if any of it is true, but it is a neat read, and a nice color scheme. LINC Hope it is not considered Blasphemy :-) (25 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  1298 Classic Advent at Target

I found the 1298 Classic Advent Calendar today at Target on West Main in Kalamazoo - they were priced at $19.99 - not as cheap as Walmart (re, Steve Bliss in loc.us.mi.grr & lugnet.market.shopping post on 8/10/99: The basic/classic Advent set! Just spoken to the spm. His gut feeling is somewhere in the region of US$4000 to $5000 BUT he reckons the managers' (who although consider the whole lot to be a plastic junk) would value the spare parts much, much higher. How much higher I don't (...) (25 years ago, 19-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
