Re: Train layout ideas for future Ontario/Canada train shows

(...) CanBrick should not be taken by a single area club, IMO. (Victoria speaks up!) (...) Not too important, as long as it is known in advance that the module is not going to show up. It is perfectly possible to have a L shaped layout. Not sure if (...) (20 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.loc.ca.on, FTX)

(...) no prob. (...) Me too. I think one reason for the large nose, thinwalls for windows, and large roof pieces is to save weight. (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.trains)

Poorly modeled part in LDD (was Re: LEGO Factory Updated)

I noticed that part 4081 Lamp Holder is modeled incorrectly in LDD. The holder should not be centered at the plate height, but should be raised up slightly. --Bram (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: Announcing the Inaugural Meeting of The Sydney Lego Train Club

(...) Well the meeting occurred and a good time was had by everyone. It chugged on for 12 hours which is surely a good sign. While sadly deficient in trains myself, everyone was happy to see the crocodile rock. Now all I need to do is something (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

Copper's Callbox - Another Rum Rummers Set

This is the second set for the Rum Runners sub-theme. Illegal booze runers aren't much fun if there aren't any cops to chase them, so I built the Copper's Callbox set. (2 URLs) Brickshelf Gallery> The set consists of a rookie cop on foot patrol, and (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.town, FTX) !

Re: Review of 7897 Passenger Train available at ILTCO site

(...) Larry, Thanks for the write-up. While I dig the idea of being able to slot different axles through the motor (possibly for uses other than trains), the idea of only being able to pull a couple of cars bums me out. Still, I won't know for sure (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

(...) Yep, I can confirm (finally, now that it's past May 1). It is a modified RJ12 connector (RJ-12 is 6 wire phone cord connector). The wiring and the jack size is the same, but the little lock piece that sticks up on the connectors is offset and (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

(...) Thanks Philo! It looks like a lot of detailed and patient work, but I believe I could ruin a few before I got the hang of it. And the RJ11 phone cables are cheap these days. Thanks for the link. Todd (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  1930 Model AA Ford Pickup

This MOC is for the Vancouver Lego Club's 2006 Surrey Museum show. If you're in British Columbia's Lower Mainland this Summer, I would reccomend that you check it out.   Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

(...) My understanding from reading some of the posts that the connector NXT uses is a non-standard RJ-esque connector. It is not RJ11 or RJ45 but some new connector. Not an electrical engineer myself, I do not know if this connector is even (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) Add the MyTrain pallete, and then delete the custom pallete for your MOC to get something you can buy. (Warning...it won't be pretty). --Bram (20 years ago, 11-May-06, to lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) OMG!!!! so it does! Even big, complicated models. Way to go, LEGO Factory team! Although, not only are some (many?) of the parts I use not available at all, even when those are removed by LDD before uploading, I can't buy the model. The screen (...)   Re: New Space Moc - Amazing Stories

(...) Your ability to cross themes (or completely ignore them) is amazing. I mean that as a compliment, I hope it came out that way. You seem to have a terrific knack for sculpting whatever it is you wish to create. (...) I think I mentioned to you (...) (20 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Selling my whole Collection - 500lbs of LEGO !!! Please check it out.

(...) Yea I'm moving to Nashville, the house I live in is getting sold, and will no longer have room for it all. I found that my Lego's have been collecting more dust than I have been collecting Legos. Anyway, thanks for looking, BEN (URL) (20 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.market.auction)
