  Re: Spedizione Legoland....

(...) l'idea era di partire il 22 e tornare il 25 :-) andare a legoland il 23... e poi un giro a fussen (il castello del puzzle ravensburger per capirci) , monaco etc. negli altri giorni che ne pensi/ate? ciao Cristian (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  Re: R21 - Tug of war ??

(...) Why not? It seems like it would make all of the events more popular. Do you think it would take anything away from any of the events? (...) We've just been throwing around ideas for BrickFest events. The rules Dave posted actually sound pretty (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Tic Tac Toe Results

(...) So to clarify, if the games were a draw and no touches were needed, the winner was the one with the lowest time. But if even one touch was needed, a slower robot that was better at block placement would win (because it didn't need a "touch"), (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: {rtlToronto 21} Tug 'O War

(...) No, thin and flexible is good in my view--easier for people to build something to grip the rope. Spec'ing Crappy tire is fine by me--basically everyone has a Can Tire near them, so this should make it easier than to get them from Chris. I'd (...)   New street

Here is a folder with a new street that I have been working on for my layout. It leads to and from the burnt-out section of town, underneath a rising elevated subway line. (URL) I am pleased with the sparce, desoalte feel that the section with the (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build) !

  Tic Tac Toe Results

So, we've been playing with Tic Tac Toe for a couple months. Of course, at the same time, several of us have been working on other stuff, as well. We finally had our Tic Tac Toe event yesterday. It was a very cooperative event. Every robot played (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Boeing 737 by "mpostma"

Has a Technic passenger jet like this ever been made in this large of scale before? (URL) big! Oh, by the way, its very well done too. Studless beams place in that fashion are almost exactly like the skeleton of a real passenger jet. Heck, the (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic) !

  Re: {rtlToronto 21} Tug 'O War

(...) Any thoughts on the actual rope? We were discussing something commonly/easily available (unlike the sash cord :) Something like (URL) Canadian Tire - 50 ft of 5/16" rope for ~$10. Is that too thin/flexible? Is a thicker/stiffer rope desired? (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: R21 - Tug of war ??

(...) Wow, it's like I logged into lugnet.org.us.somegu...inindiana* :) I'm not really sure where we are on this one, other than we know we're starting a contest up here. As for unifying a ruleset for Brickfest, I'm not really that crazy about it, (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: R21 - Tug of war ??

(...) My idea was to have teams of 3 or so robots, one of which could be an "anchor" robot (be allowed a firm connection of some type to the edge of the the table). But I admit, I only really liked this because of the possibility of one team (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
