Re: Carriage House --2nd town contest entry

(...) Thanks, John. I have put a couple of angle shots in the folder here: (URL) You're right, the angles give it a better presentation. For this building, I don't think I'd be able to get any pictures in natural light. It is in the middle of my (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Undergrand part 3: Tokyo 7000 series

Hi all, Here is my third major underground, the Tokyo Metro (or Subway as it's sometimes called). I modelled a (URL) series 7000> set because I liked the asymmetric face. As with the NY Subway set, this should be IR buildable with only minor (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: CABR buildings and your opinions

--SNIP-- (...) You could try five-wide cars. If you use the wider wheel plate (part 6157) and regular small size wheels they come out at almost exactly five wide. I find that odd number also let you easily do things like 'angle' the car in to a (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains)
