  Re: New MOC: MOAB

(...) Thanks for the comments, Mark. The calves are actually as thick as they possibly can be while allowing enough clearance on the front (above the foot) and in the back (retracting up to the thigh) so the MOAB can squat down low enough to fit in (...)   Re: Brick 1 x 4 with Town Car Grille Chrome

(...) Clark, I have a yellow 1x4 with a black grille. It came in set 166 Vehicle Extra parts pack. The printing is very overdone, the two headlights on each side run together. I'll get a pic, or scan, of it in the next couple of days. I think Eric (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Studs invade Bionicle world en masse!

  4881 Designer Set "Robo Platoon"

So, I picked up the first 'generic' set I've bought since I was a wee little kid. You know what? I actually missed having creative little themed sets.   Re: The Upper Chattahoochee rides again

(...) For an older MOC, I think they looked pretty good, reminds me of a GP15 (URL) My first train MOC was a 88ton switcher about 15 years ago. Although it could be greatly improved, I'm hesitant to change it. Mat (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: 8421 first impressions

(...) Hi Vineet. In what way did you atached the extra tubes (there were a few cm of back and blue tubing left over after I cut the size I needed - I assume you are referring to those). Thanks, Gyl (21 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic)

Yes. When I built the crane, I had the same problem. This can be fixed however. All you have to do is attach the extra tubes. (21 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8421 first impressions

(...) Thanks for the info. Still, I don't see the need to use this motor in the 8421. It only uses one motor, and it is not a very demanding application. They could have used the minimotor easily. It would have been smaller and less expensive, and (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic)
