  Dallas DART light rail

Here is a first-go at the (URL) Dallas DART light rail commuter train>. The goal for this set was to implement a half-plate thick black line across the side of the train to better match the (URL) livery of the DART>. While I think I do have the (...)   LEGO Stores

Does anyone know if the LEGO stores are "company" stores or franchises? I assume they are "company" stores (owned and operated by TLG) but was curious. Ted (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Who's got RSS feeds of your creations?

(...) Late last year, I started a project that kind of addressed this (sorta) but let it drift. With recent events I've been seriously considering dusting it back off, and think it's time to actively solicit more feedback. (URL) LENNI is the (URL) (...)   Re: Who's got RSS feeds of your creations?

(...) It appears to be actually an Atom feed, rather than RSS -- Atom is a newer, still-evolving format that some feel is an improvement on RSS. Pretty neat though. I've subscribed to it using NetNewsWire Lite, and it shows the items nicely, (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Legoland

(21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

  BrickFest Volunteers!

Come out and get involved. Please note, if you already have offered to help at BrickFest, due to a web glitch, some requests may have not made it to me. Therefore, if you did volunteer to help for BrickFest, and you have not heard from me please (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.announce, lugnet.people)

Hey, I think that this is the RSS feed of my blog (I must admit, I'm still unsure of the technical details of blogging etc). (URL) Bruce (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Problems with FindWorld() function

(...) The code generated by NQC appears to be correct. I've had reports over the years from lots of people who have had great success with using the world relation table information in the Spybot so I doubt that the firmware is buggy in this respect (...)   Re: Transparent parts (small)

(...) For reference, here's a sample that includes an LDView-rendered transparent part: (URL) know it's a much bigger part, but it's all I had online.) --Travis (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Transparent parts (small)

(...) I don't think LDGLite supports anything other than stipple transparency. If you use LDView as your renderer, you can get sorted blended trancparency. You'll want to use the latest LDView test release for it to work properly, though. That's (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: White noise around model with colored background

(...) your background color in the LPub images, or turn off antialiasing in LDGLite. I'm not sure how to do either, but I assume both are possible. One problem with setting the background color in LDGLite is that the PLIs in LPub use a different (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Legowiki

I am thinking of starting LegoWiki, to be about Lego the company, Lego the brick, and Lego the community. A Wiki is a collaboratively created and edited site, where the content is released under a free license, such as the GNU Free Document License (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: What about a LEGO TECHNIC tutorial

(...) I was actually referring to the current MLCad interface. In the keyboard entry rotation dialog (Edit->Rotate->Keyboard Entry), you can specify a full rotation vector, plus rotation angle. Specifying a vector with 1 or -1 in the X, Y, or Z axis (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Musings on an open-source Brickshelf replacement

(...) Well our Gallery installation is "out of the box" so to speek. Unlike the forums and blog software the Gallery is just the standard software and that feed is generated by our site so I guess I don't know what they mean by the fact that it (...)   Transparent parts (small)

Hi, What I see when I use small parts in transparent colors does not make me happy. See what I mean in the same image of my previous post: (URL) at the "plate 1 x 1 round" colored red transparent in the PLI and the step. Any way to get this better? (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

White noise around model with colored background

Hi, Is there a way, using LPub and LDGLite as a renderer, to get rid of the white "noise" around the model when using a colored background? See example: (URL) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.cad)

Who's got RSS feeds of your creations?

I'd like to try writing an RSS aggregator specifically for pictures of LEGO creations (and related stuff, like shows). I know that NELUG has an RSS feed for (URL) their image gallery>. Does anybody else know of any LEGO image RSS feeds? Thanks, Joe (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)
