Hi Ross and many thanks for your support ! I also thought about using specific Technic "swashplate", but I concluded as you did : collective control could'nt be achieved because of friction. A couple members of our club, the SCLTC, are investigating DCC. One member, Ted has picked up a Super Chief system from Digitrax. An I've just purchased a Zephyr system. Brian, That's a great mountain & layout. I can see kids' eyes popping and jaws dropping. It looks like you used some scale compression on the mountain slopes to make it appear taller - is that right? Some simple model railraoding techniques might offer some depth. Perhaps a blue gradient staring at about 12" above the table top, to about 36" above the table (depending how high the tallest buildings are). Since its already light blue, get some (...) (21 years ago, 3-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)
