Hi Ross and many thanks for your support !
I also thought about using specific Technic swashplate, but I concluded as you
did : collective control couldnt be achieved because of friction. So keeping
the large technic turntable was the best way... I must say I was convinced I
first must have an helicopter built, because there were so many cars, trucks,
and cranes everywhere in Lego MOCs ! Your concept was very original and I was
really amazed to see it was possible to do so realistic control...
Well, next project will surely be an F1 car anyway, but I would be happy if I
could manage (and find time) to edit a LDraw model of my helicopter with
building instructions. Maybe someone would be interested in it...
Regards,
Pierrick.

I like how you control the swash plate (turntable) from below - the probably (...) (20 years ago, 2-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
