  Re: Uh Oh...

(...) Iran. (...) I have a fun story about Iran. In about 2000-2001, we took on this huuuuuge project to build a massive, 4-phase automation system for building dry cell batteries.   Uh Oh...

After a minor fiasco, which I won't delve into here but which brought Sparky's Space to its knees the other day, I get my web server back up and running on a faster system. So I start tweaking Apache, making it a little more 'fun' for me--doing (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: My First Mech ... Please Critic

Hi Brian! One thing you'll notice that is different between ball joint and gear driven mechs is the range of motion using gears is very linear. That being the case, balance will now be a larger factor in building than it ever was before. My personal (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)

  Examples for the mosaic enthousiasts.

Hi all, I have added a page to my website containing a few examples of mosaics that can be made out of LEGO or ministeck (mainly ministeck-enthousiasts have asked me about it). Every now and then I will try to add new examples to this page. It is (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.announce, FTX) !!

Re: valuing lego for insurance purposes

For many years we have been keeping a list of the Lego instructions we have to help prioritise our purchases (ie, buy instructions/sets we don't have first). Note, instructions do not necessarily mean sets, but close. Somewhere along the line we (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Open letter to the CEO of the LEGO Company / Call for your signs! (no discussions here please)

I agree with the general thrust of this letter. Steve Demlow (34), Minnesota, $1,000-$4,000 annually before 2004; less than $100 on 2004-2005 sets. The company produced a lot of excellent sets in 2004 - great designs, great parts selections - but my (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.color, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Instructions bigger than box??

  Instructions bigger than box??

Hey there everyone It's been a bit quiet here this week so I thought I'd pose this question Has anyone ever had a set where the instructions are actually bigger than the box they came in? I know it sounds a bit weird, but I was given a Technic set (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.au)
